The venue has its own COVID-19 risk assessment which we will need to align with. This is a historic space built as a jailhouse (part of its attraction), which makes social distancing difficult at best. - [Venue](https://furnace.org.uk/venue/): We run our events at The Garrison Hotel. Attendees organise their own accommodation. If possible, we recommend booking with The Garrison, which has comfortable rooms a stroll away from the gaming area, and a good breakfast in the morning. Make sure that you phone them to book your room and make it clear that you are with the Furnace convention, as this should get you a discounted rate.  There are other nearby options and it is well worth looking at AirBnB for local rooms too.
